Training in Chinese Medicine
Chinese Medicine takes a holistic view of health and covers acupuncture, chinese herbal medicine, massage (Tuina), nutrition and exercise (Qigong). At present we have listed only British Acupuncture Council accredited courses. Some western trained healthcare staff, such as GPs and physiotherapists can carry out acupuncture, but this is generally not based on traditional chinese theory (check with your practitioner). Courses for those wishing to study Western acupuncture can be found at the British Medical acupuncture Council's website.
